CypherStyles.com November 06’ Newsletter and Update:

October has been the busiest, craziest and best month since CypherStyles opened! We’ve been to the International Battle of the Year in Braunschweig, Germany! As many of you have noticed we’ve got a sick new look on our site! (Seriously, Before, it looked like a Honda Civic. Now it’s more like Lamborghini!) To go with our hot new look, we’ve got a TON of Fresh New Products! We wanted to help you get a jump start on your Christmas shopping so we’ve slashed a lot of our prices down. Happy Holidays Hip Hop Heads, it’s our way of showing our love for all your great feedback and support!

International Battle of the Year 06:
CypherStyles.com was a definite presence at Battle of the Year We were there, with our flyers and our clothing and our stickers promoting our asses off trying to spread word about our site to the 10,000+ European BBoys and BGirls that were there. It was unbelievable. Seeing over 10 THOUSAND rowdy break dancers from all corners of the world in one place is indescribable? The energy and excitement was so intense! All the competing crews were super human. I would not have wanted to be in the judges’ shoes trying to decide between them all. Salah of the Vagabonds and the Family, the amazing French Funk Styles Genius blew the roof off the whole house with his showcase! I could rant about how amazing and incredible and overwhelming those three days were, but then it would take up all the space in our news letter, and we actually have a lot of other stuff to tell you guys about. Check out Ill Skillz Bboy Magazine in about a month, learn more about our BOTY experience and read about our interview with Thomas, the organizer for the Battle of the Year.

Despite the fact that we were away for part of October, we have not been slacking at home! While Griz and I were tearing it up in Germany, Andrew our Inventory and Marketing Director was busy holding down the fort at home, taking care of customers questions and receiving and processing a ton of new DVDs and CDs for you.

New Products:
This month, we are not only adding new DVDs and CDs to our collection. We’ve gone above and beyond and added entire new CATEGORIES to our online store.

Beat Box Videos:
We have a new Beat Box Video section. We are the only people in North America to carry Beat Box training videos. Learn to Beatbox Vol. 1 is a sick training video. If you want to learn to beat box, this is the best video out there to watch. There’s over an hour of beat boxing instruction with an easy to use menu system. Its a really well structured video, perfect for beginners. For more experienced heads we’ve also got Beatbox Video Magazine 1, Hobit “Do the Beatbox”, Human Beatbox Convention 03, Rahzel Make the Music 2000, Scribble Jam 7, and UK Beat Box Championships 2005.

Krumping Videos:
We didn’t stop at Beat Boxing, either. We have a whole new Krump section as well. WE have everything from showcases to battles to how-to videos. Heart of Krump: Getting Buck vs. Acting Krump and Spiritual Warfares of Krump: the Truth Behind the Glory, and Little Homies of Krump are showcase/documentaries. Krump 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 give you everything you need to know to start Krumping yourself. Krump Battles and Breakin’ vs. Krumpin’ are awesome battle videos pitting styles against each other. You won’t find a more complete selection anywhere else!

Funk Styles Training Videos:
Funk Styles should definitely not be forgotten, and they’re not. We have a whole new section of Funk Styles Training videos. You want to learn solid Funk Styles and rave dancing? Check out these well organized DVDs: Mr. Wiggles – The Menu, Tiny Love Basic Liquid, Tiny Love Glowsticking, Hypno Identity, Hypno King Tut Basic, Hypno World of Animation and Hypno Basic 101 that cover all skill levels.

Funk Styles Videos:
Along with the new categories, we also have some smokin’ additions to our existing street dance video sections. Mr. Wiggles, one of the best funk styles dancers out there, has released a new series of his showcases. Mr. Wiggles Pt. 1 Featuring the Rock Steady Crew, Wiggles II contains footage of Mr. Wiggles, as he showcases his Four Element talents in MCing, Graffing, and Popping and Locking. Mr. Wiggles 3 features Wiggles growing as a dancer, popper, locker, bboy and part of the Electric Boogaloos. Mr. Wiggles 4 features out takes from Limp Bizkit’s rollin video, footage from the life performances in the Anger Management Tour, Wiggle’s solo with Rock Steady Crew and footage of the Electric Boogaloos. All four of these videos are unbelievable.

BBoy Training Videos:
We’re adding a bunch of new Break Dancing instructional DVDs as well. Ephrat’s Breaking Foundations is a recent addition, Breakdance Completely Street is an EXCELLENT training video and brand new, as is Learn to Hip Hop grooves on the beach featuring the Groovaloos, Learn to Hip Hop Grooves 3 DVD set.

BBoy Battle Videos:
We reached 100+ in our BBoy Battle Video Category, but we won’t be satisfied until we can offer you every video ever made. We’ve added the Ken Swift Collection Double DVD so that you can see one of the legendary founders of BBoying in action. Bboy Summit X is out, and we have it! The Armory Cup Korea 2006 isn’t even available yet, and we have it (supplies are extremely limited!) Mighty 4 2006, B-Boy Unit 8 and Red Bull BC One 2005 have all been our best sellers over the past month and are also highly recommended.

Battle of the Year CD’s:
We brought new Battle of the Year CDs back with us from Dominance Records in Germany. We’ve got the International Battle of the Year 2006 Soundtrack featuring Jay-Roc N’ Jakebeatz, Brisk Fingaz, Hawkeye, Breakout, DJ Tee and the International Battle of the Year 2005 Soundtrack! We’ve got DJ Nas’d’s latest CDs Taken From the Street and Fly By Night as well.

My fingers are getting tired from typing in all of these things. But I’ve got one last comment about our payment process: Currently, you need to go through PayPal to check out, although you don’t have to have a PayPal account to do this, and can just pay using your credit card through PayPal.
